Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. crushed Ritz crackers
    1/2 c. melted butter
    2 large onions (about 2 1/2 c.)
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    3/4 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Mix crackers and butter.
    Press into pie plate. Bake 5 minutes.
    Saute onions in oil, then arrange over crust.
    Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over onions. Top with cheese and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
