Lacy Kern'S Beet Salad - Molded - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. beet juice
1 c. water
2 Tbsp. vinegar
3 bay leaves
1 piece garlic (5 to 6 cloves)
1/2 tsp. onion
2 Tbsp. catsup
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 pkg. lemon jello
1 Tbsp. gelatin
1 can beets (julienne slice)
garnish: lettuce, cheese balls, artichoke hearts, etc.
Preparation

Simmer first seven ingredients.
Strain out cloves.
Add sugar. While mixture is still quite hot, pour over jello.
Add gelatin. Put in beets.
Mold in ring mold or individual molds.
Garnish with lettuce, cheese balls (small), artichoke hearts, etc.
