Pickled Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    several small okra pods
    1 clove garlic (per pt.)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    boiling vinegar
Preparation
    Wash and trim, leaving stems.
    Pack into hot jars.
    Add 1 clove garlic and 1/2 teaspoon salt to each pint.
    Fill jars to overflowing with boiling vinegar.
    Wipe off sealing surface. Seal.
    Let stand several weeks.
    Chill in refrigerator several days before serving.
