Shortbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine ingredients and roll into balls.
    Press down balls 2 ways with fork (to make them flat because they don't spread when baking).
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until tops are lightly brown.
