Beef Tips And Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. beef strips (sirloin or top round)
1 1/2 Tbsp. oil
2 large onions
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 c. water
1/4 c. cornstarch, mixed in 1/2 c. water
3 c. cooked rice
Preparation

Brown beef (cut in 1/2-inch strips) in oil. Add onions.
Cover and let cook about 30 to 40 minutes.
Add garlic, water and cornstarch.
Let simmer 30 minutes more.
Now add mushrooms and heat well. Serve over the rice.
