Biscochitos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. shortening (2 c.)
    2 tsp. anise seed
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. brandy
Preparation
    Cream
    shortening
    and sugar;
    add eggs and anise seed. Cream well;
    add rest of ingredients.
    Add liquid, as needed, until mixture
    holds together enough to roll.
    Cut in desired shapes and dip in mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until lightly brown.
