Tomato Chow Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 peck green tomatoes
    1 doz. green and red sweet peppers
    2 hot peppers
    8 onions
    2 large heads cabbage
    1 c. salt
Preparation
    Grind and
    add
    salt;
    cover
    with water and cook until tender, about 1 hour.
    Put in cloth bag; drip overnight.
