White Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    2 (7 serving size) envelopes instant potatoes
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    3 c. sugar
    3 tsp. vanilla
    5 egg yolks
    5 egg whites
Preparation
    Bring water, salt and milk to boiling point.
    Add instant potatoes and margarine.
    Cool slightly, then add sugar, vanilla and beaten egg yolks.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in other ingredients.
    Pour into unbaked pie shells and bake 35 minutes or until set (knife comes out clean when inserted in center).
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven.
    Makes 3 (9-inch) pies.
