Strawberry Pie With 7-Up - cooking recipe

Ingredients

9-inch pie crust
1 pt. fresh strawberries, washed, stemmed and drained dry
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
6 oz. 7-Up
several drops of red food coloring
whipped cream or ice cream

Preparation

Sprinkle pie crust with sugar and bake to golden brown.
Line bottom of pie crust with strawberries.
In saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch and 7-Up.
Bring to boil, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add food coloring.
Pour over strawberries and refrigerate.
Once chilled, serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
