Cabbage Patch Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    2 medium onions, thinly sliced
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    2 c. water
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained)
    2 c. chopped cooked tomatoes
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. diced celery
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown beef in hot oil over medium heat.
    Add onions, cabbage and celery.
    Cook until onions are transparent.
    Add water; simmer over low heat 15 minutes.
    Add beans, tomatoes, salt, pepper and chili powder.
    Simmer over low heat 15 minutes.
