Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

1 lb. boneless pork, cubed
1 beaten egg
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. cold water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 large green pepper
2/3 c. chopped carrots
1/2 tsp. garlic
1 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. red wine vinegar
2 tsp. soy sauce
cooking oil
Preparation

In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup cornstarch, flour, salt, 1/4 cup water, egg and 1/4 cup chicken broth; beat until smooth.
Dip pork into batter.
Fry in deep, hot oil until golden.
Drain; set aside.
