Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. boneless stew meat
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 large can whole peeled tomatoes, crushed
3 potatoes, cubed
1 onion, chopped
1/2 small bell pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1 can sweet corn
2 carrots, sliced
Preparation

Put meat in a large pot.
Cover meat with water to half full. Add tomatoes; mash.
Add salt, pepper, bell pepper, onion, bay leaf and garlic.
Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes or until meat is almost tender.
Add potatoes, carrots and corn.
Cook until potatoes are tender.
Take out bay leaf and discard.
Serve with corn bread.
