Date Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 stick butter
2 pkg. dates
1 qt. pecans
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
little salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Preheat oven at 300\u00b0.
Mix dates and nuts in separate bowl with flour, then add remaining ingredients.
Pour into well-greased pan.
Cook for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
