Chunky Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. flour
    4 c. milk
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 c. minced onion
    1/2 to 3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add milk; stir in potatoes, onion, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture is thickened and potatoes are done.
