Sauerkraut And Polish Sausage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 or 3 cans (1 lb.) sauerkraut
1 medium size onion, chopped
1 Polish sausage
Preparation

Strain sauerkraut.
Add sauerkraut to pan; cover with water and bring to a boil.
Boil for 30 minutes and strain.
Fry onion in butter or margarine.
Cut through sauerkraut with knife and add to onion mix.
In separate pan, boil sausage in enough water to cover for 1/2 hour.
Remove and place on dish.
When cool enough to handle, cut in slices.
Add to onion and sauerkraut mixture; mix thoroughly.
Season to taste and enjoy!
Mashed potatoes can be served with this.
