Fruit Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
    1 c. chopped candied pineapple
    1 c. chopped candied cherries
    2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing well. Divide into 3 equal portions. Roll each into an 11-inch log. Roll each log in powdered sugar and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate several hours or until firm. Cut into 1/2-inch slices, reshaping slices, if necessary. Yield: about 5 dozen slices.
