Peanut Brittle With Chocolate - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
4 Tbsp. softened butter
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. dry roasted peanuts
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate bits
Preparation

Boil together sugars, syrup, salt and water until the mixture reaches 300\u00b0 on a candy thermometer.
Add butter and baking soda, stirring until just mixed.
Add nuts.
Pour onto greased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle immediately with chocolate, either leaving in pieces or smoothing with spatula.
