Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large lemon (grated rind and juice)
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. margarine
3 eggs
6 Tbsp. sugar for meringue
Preparation

Mix together sugar and cornstarch.
Add eggs, saving whites for meringue.
Add margarine, lemon and milk.
Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake at 350\u00b0.
When nearly done, top with egg whites which have been stiffly beaten with 6 tablespoons sugar added.
You may also add 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar to egg whites.
