Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 baked 9-inch pie shell
2/3 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks
whipped cream or whipped topping
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sliced banana
Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and egg yolks together thoroughly in saucepan.
Combine evaporated milk and water; stir into sugar mixture until smooth.
Cook over low heat, stirring until thickened, about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and let cool completely.
Arrange bananas in baked pie shell.
Cover with cool mixture.
Spread with whipped cream or whipped topping and refrigerate.
