Catarina Thomas' Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 lemon
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 box Betty Crocker Butter Recipe cake mix
    pie crust
Preparation
    Squeeze the juice of the lemon over apple slices.
    Mix together sugar, spices and apple slices.
    Fill pie shell with this mixture and dot with 1/2 stick butter.
    Pour half of the dry cake mix over apples.
    Melt 1 stick of butter and pour over the cake mix.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
