24 Hour Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small head lettuce, chopped
1/2 c. cabbage, chopped
2 blades celery, chopped
1/2 c. fresh onions, chopped or plain onions
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1/2 pkg. frozen English peas
1 c. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. sugar
Parmesan cheese
Preparation
-
Layer in bowl with lid.
Spread salad dressing over, sealing it against sides of bowl.
Sprinkle sugar over top, then cover. Top with Parmesan cheese.
Put lid on container and let stand for 24 hours or overnight.
Toss before serving.
