Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Blend shortening and sugar until fluffy.
    Add egg, molasses and dry ingredients, except flour; mix well.
    Gradually add flour. Roll dough by hand into a small ball about the size of a quarter. Roll dough ball in granulated sugar.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet; do not flatten!
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
