Bread Pudding That Slices - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. bread or cake crumbs
2 c. milk
3 eggs, well beaten
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped toasted blanched almonds
Preparation

Soak crumbs in 1 cup milk; squeeze dry.
To crumbs, add the remaining cup of milk, beaten eggs, melted butter, sugar, salt, spices and almond extract.
Mix thoroughly.
Stir in raisins and almonds.
Turn into greased 9 x 5 x 2-inch loaf pan or 9-inch tube angel cake pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Slice and serve warm with whipped cream.
