Black Walnut Cake(Indiana Picnic Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 stick butter
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla (add to milk)
1/2 c. chopped black walnuts

Preparation

Prepare a 9 x 13-inch pan by lining with wax paper and grease well.
If nonstick, only grease well.
Do not use sprays.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
