Ingredients

1 lb. loaf French bread
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
2 c. thinly sliced ham
1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
3/4 c. prepared barbecue sauce
1 1/2 c. shredded Muenster cheese
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Slice bread lengthwise from end to end. Place both halves on ungreased cookie sheet.
Combine oil and garlic in small bowl and brush on cut side of bread.
In medium saucepan, combine ham, onion and sauce.
Cook on stove for 5 minutes until mixture is hot and onion is tender, stirring frequently.
Spread mixture on bread halves evenly, top with cheese.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is melted.
Serves 6 generously.
