Seven Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. Karo corn syrup
    4 Tbsp. cold water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    few grains of salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Beat all ingredients, except vanilla, in top of double boiler.
    Place over boiling water and beat until will stand in a stiff peak.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla; beat until stiff.
