Layered Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head lettuce
    1 medium onion, minced or finely chopped fresh
    1/2 c. salad dressing
    1 small can very young peas
    1 pkg. grated Swiss cheese
    1 lb. bacon, crumbled
Preparation
    Chop lettuce and put in bottom of salad bowl. Spread onion over top; spread salad dressing over onion. Sprinkle drained peas on salad dressing, then cheese and add bacon last. Refrigerate. Toss before serving.
