Ingredients

1 qt. apple cider
1/2 tsp. whole cloves
1/2 tsp. whole allspice
1 cinnamon stick
dash of salt
1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in 2-quart microproof casserole.
Cook for 15 minutes on 50, or until very hot.
Remove spices.
Serve hot.
Add red apple slices for garnish, if desired.
Total cooking time: 15 minutes.
