Black-Eyed Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 lb. ground meat
    2 cans jalapeno black-eyed peas
    1 can tomatoes, drained and chopped
    2 c. cooked rice
    Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter.
    Add ground meat and brown.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
    Spoon mixture into casserole. Sprinkle cheese over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
