Hot Texas Red Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/8 c. olive oil
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    5 cloves garlic
    1/2 tsp. cumin
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. cayenne red pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. paprika
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    3 Tbsp. corn meal
    1 pt. water
Preparation
    With olive oil hot in a large pot, add meat and sear at a high heat, stirring constantly until grey in color (not brown).
    Add water and cook at bubbling simmer about 1 1/2 hours.
    Add all ingredients except flour and corn meal.
    Cook additional 30 minutes.
    Mix flour and corn meal in 1/2 cup water and add to mixture.
    Cook 5 minutes more.
    Add water if needed.
