Individual Coffee Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift together the dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Beat the egg and mix with milk and vanilla.
Add to dry ingredients. Stir until blended.
Spoon into muffin tins with cupcake liners. Brush tops with melted butter.
