Hamburger And Barley Pot - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, sliced
    4 carrots, sliced
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    5 c. water
    3 tomatoes, sliced
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. barley
Preparation
    Lightly brown meat in margarine, breaking it up as it cooks. Add onion and cook 5 more minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients except barley.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add barley and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until barley is tender.
    Uncover for the last 15 minutes of cooking to reduce liquid.
