Date Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Beat eggs until foamy; add sugar gradually.
    Sift flour, baking soda and salt together and fold into egg mixture.
    Add vanilla; fold dates and nuts into batter.
    Turn into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Cut into one by two-inch bars and roll in powdered sugar.
