Queenie'S Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 stick soft butter
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 unbaked pie crust (9-inch)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs, milk, salt and vanilla.
    Pour into pie crust.
    Put into preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and continue baking for about 45 minutes or until a golden crust forms.
