Carne Gisada(Stew Beef) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean stew meat
1 medium onion, diced
1 large bell pepper, diced
4 bay leaves
3 well ripened tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
3 cloves garlic
salt to taste
1 Tbsp. paprika
2 sprigs fresh parsley
1/2 c. wine
1/4 c. olive oil
Preparation

In a deep frying pan, add oil, onion, tomatoes and beef; saute until beef changes color.
Add pepper, salt and bay leaves; cook for 5 minutes.
Add tomato sauce (mash garlic, parsley and paprika).
Add the wine to the mixture and stir into the stew beef.
Cook on low heat until beef is tender.
Serve over rice. Serves 4.
