Jellied Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. strained applesauce
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. or more red hots
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. Knox gelatine
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Heat applesauce until boiling.
    Add sugar, candy, nutmeg and gelatine (which has been soaked in cold water).
    Stir until gelatine and candy dissolve.
    Cool.
    Add lemon juice and turn into square pan or mold.
