Blueberry Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. blueberries
    1/2 c. sugar (to taste)
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    3 tsp. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    salt to taste
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients and place in 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Cream together shortening, 1/2 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk.
    Spread batter over blueberries.
    Pour 1 cup boiling water over mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
