Ingredients

1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine milk, sugar, butter, flour and vanilla in a saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in coconut and pecans.
Beat until thickened and cooled.
Yields enough to fill and top one 3 layer cake.
