Roman Holiday Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. hot Italian sausage, cut in 1/2 inch slices
1 cup chopped onion
2 tsp oregano
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 can tomato soup
1 cup water
4 cups cooked wide noodles (6 oz.)
4 slices mild cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
Preparation

In skillet, brown beef and cook sausage, onion and oregano until done.
Stir to separate meat.
Pour off fat.
Add soups and water and mix.
Set aside.
Cook noodles as directed and drain. In separate containers refrigerate meat mixture and noodles overnight.
Combine meat mixture and noodles and pour in 2 qt. shallow baking dish (12 x 8 x 2) and cover.
Place in cold oven. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.
Stir.
Top with cheese and bake until cheese melts.
