Fried Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal (self-rising)
    hot water
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Add hot water to cornmeal, small amount at a time, until it becomes a medium thin mixture.
    In heavy bottom skillet, place 3 tablespoons cooking oil and heat for a few seconds.
    With a large spoon drop the cornmeal mixture into frying pan in two or three places, being careful to keep the corn cakes apart from each other (like pancake).
    Fry until golden brown.
    Turn to fry other side. Serve with a pat of butter on each.
