Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Put sugar, water and Karo in pan.
    Boil until it spins a fine thread, then add the peanuts and stir until the syrup turns amber color or about 10 minutes, then add soda and turn burner off. Stir very fast until soda mixes well.
    Pour on greased cookie sheet and let cool.
    Break into pieces.
