Sweet Corn Griddle Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1 small c. milk
6 ears sweet corn
1 tsp. sugar
salt to taste
pepper to taste
flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

To the beaten egg, add the milk, grains from the corn, sugar, salt and pepper to taste and flour, enough to make a batter of the proper consistency, sifted with the soda and cream of tartar.
Fry in deep fat.
