Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. rice (raw)
    1/2 c. green onion tops
    1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Saute in small amount of oil in skillet the onion tops, peppers, water chestnuts and raw rice.
    Stir, cooking about 3 minutes.
    Mix onion soup mix with 1 1/2 cups water.
    Pour into casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes.
    Side dish to meat.
    May add brown ground meat for a main dish.
    So good either way.
