Risotto Milanese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cube butter or margarine
    1/2 c. minced onion (a large onion)
    1 c. uncooked rice
    3 c. beef broth (undiluted)
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 or 1/2 tsp. parsley
    1/4 or 1/2 tsp. sweet basil
    1/4 or 1/2 tsp. rosemary
    1/4 or 1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/4 or 1/2 tsp. marjoram
Preparation
    Melt butter and saute onion.
    Cook over low heat, stirring continually.
    Add rice, stirring often, until rice has absorbed the butter, about 15 minutes.
    Add herbs.
    Add the broth, one-half cup at a time.
    Keep stirring and cook 10 minutes longer after all the broth has been added.
    Remove from heat.
    Rice should be done. Add the cheese before serving.
    More can be added at the table.
