Layered Sherbet Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vanilla wafer crumbs (about 30 wafers)
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
    1 (2 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds, toasted and chopped
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 qt. raspberry sherbet, softened
    1 qt. pineapple sherbet, softened
    1 qt. lime sherbet, softened
    whipped cream (optional)
Preparation
    Combine first four ingredients, mixing well.
    Press mixture firmly, in bottom of a 10-inch tube pan with removable bottom or a 9-inch spring-form pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Cool.
