Original Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 1/4 c. flour
    3 c. grated carrots
    1 1/2 c. nuts
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix oil, sugar and eggs (added one at a time) together. Sift the flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt; add to other ingredients,
    then add carrots and nuts.
    Bake either in a tube pan
    or
    3\t(9-inch)
    cake pans at 350\u00b0 until toothpick comes out clean.
    Ice with Philadelphia cream icing.
