Jewish Latkes "Potato Pancakes" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, finely grated
    6 medium potatoes, grated
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    2 oz. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix onion and potato together.
    Add soda.
    Drain off any liquid and beat in remaining ingredients.
    Heat oil and drop batter by tablespoons onto pan.
    Fry until golden on the outside; turn only once.
    Serve with sour cream.
