Praline Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
3 c. cake flour, sifted
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cream butter or margarine with sugar until light.
Add egg yolks, one at a time, and beat until fluffy.
Combine sifted cake flour with cream of tartar and soda.
Sift again.
Add to the batter alternately with the buttermilk.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread with topping.
