Chicken Soup(By A "Navy" Cook) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1 clove garlic
    salt and pepper
    1/2 tsp. yellow food coloring
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    bay leaf, crushed
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    2 stalks celery
    1 chicken, cut in pieces
    few parsley leaves
Preparation
    After chicken boils, skim.
    Add seasonings, celery and onion. Boil 1 hour.
    Take meat off bones; discard skin.
    Strain out vegetables and return chicken to clear soup.
    Add either cooked noodles or rice to soup if desired.
    I like it plain.
    Very nice for sick people.
