Cole Slaw(Servings: 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. cabbage, sliced thin
    1 Tbsp. salt to taste
    1 bunch scallions, cut fine
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix together all ingredients except oil and vinegar.
    Cook oil and vinegar with generous amounts of black pepper until in a full boil.
    Pour over cabbage and mix well.
    Cover tightly and marinate 6 hours.
    Do not refrigerate.
